Farmers wife quilt-a-long
I just got my copy of the Farmer's Wife quilt book. So far I'm loving it! I can't wait to start the quilt-a-long... But I promised myself I'd finish my diamond quilt first.
Paw quilting
I have a way to go on my paw-quilting but so far I like what I see. I can't wait until I'm done and can start the binding.

Zig zag baby blanket.
It feels good to have this one done. It was rather simple to make and super soft. I ended up quilting it with just stitching in the ditch along the zig-zag.

Baby boy quilt
I have seen a couple zig- zig quilts on other blogs that I really liked. So i decided to give it a try. I cut up about 4 1/2 yards into 6" strips. Than I cut each strip into a 6" square and cut each square diagonally. Now I just need to find some time to sew it all together.

Manly quilt
This is a flannel quilt I made for my friend Sheeba and her Human owner Andy. It's a little wrinkly because I had it in storage. It was made from 6 ft quarters an additional 1/2 yard of the beige trim and 2.5 yards of the brown.
My to do list
Yesterday I ordered some new fabric, than I remembered that I have a lot of unfinished projects waiting for me...
1. Finish hexagon baby quilt
2. Finish diamond lap quilt
3. Finish pink brick baby quilt
4. Start baby boy quilt
5. Make a pin cushion
6. Get main sewing machine to the fix-it shop.

It's finished-- almost
Just a few more flowers to quilt on but for the most part I'm done thanks to my new machine. The fabric I used was from Moda-sugar pop I think. The idea came from a larger blanket I saw on the Moda Bakeshop. It took me two charm backs a half yard of the blue, brown, and pink, and two yards of the yellow-green.
New 2nd machine
I am way too impatient to put off quilting until I get my old machine fixed... So a bought a much less expensive machine to get my sewing fix.

Unfinished due to sewing machine malfunction
I had been working on this for an auction, but unfortunately when I went to finish it... My machine died:(
A close up of the front.
I love this quilt design that I downloaded for free at www.amybutlerdesigns.com. I used Amy Butler fabrics.
